Each format answers a different question a new pet parent asks in the first twelve months. All three are produced by the same research desk.

Our yearly read on the local shape of pet ownership — what changed, what held steady, and which numbers a new owner should actually pay attention to. Sources and method notes are printed with every report.
Read the reportsFormat three
Curated, category-by-category listings for one city, re-checked on a published schedule. A directory entry is a research record — never a paid placement, and never a referral.
See the city index02 — Editorial process
Four gates stand between an idea and a printed edition. Nothing passes without clearing all four.

We open a city file and invite credentialed local professionals in the relevant categories to write the sections they are qualified to write.
Licences, registrations and certifications are checked at source and re-checked before each new edition. We record the date of every check.
A separate checking pass confirms names, dates, figures, and quoted regulations against primary sources. Unverifiable claims are cut.
Every title carries an edition number and a revision date, so readers always know how current the page in front of them is.
03 — Editorial standards
Contributors are chosen for documented local credentials, not for reach or follower counts. Verification happens at source, on a schedule.
A checker who did not write the section confirms every checkable claim against a primary source. Findings are logged with the manuscript.
Sponsors fund editions; they never edit them. Every sponsored title carries a disclosure of who paid and what that did — and did not — buy.

04 — The catalogue
Three series, one imprint. Each listing shows the edition number, the revision date, and every contributor credited by name.
05 — By the numbers
These slots are reserved for verified imprint statistics. Replace the bracketed values once the numbers are confirmed.
06 — The imprint letter
New city editions, annual data reports, and revision notices — no more than a handful of emails a year.

Independent · Credential-verified · Fact-checked
The catalogue is organised by city, so you can go straight to the edition that covers your first twelve months where you live.
